The shooting started in a fast-food restaurant in Munich at 5:52 p.m has in fact left several civillians dead, the actual body count of dead civilians are nine. The police ordered people to stay away from the shopping mall, the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum. They shut down traffic and issued an extraordinary appeal for people to avoid public places, including the subway system, suggesting that the gunman might still be at large.
